GENERAL SHIPPING INFORMATION:

Most items ship direct from our retail store located in Terrell, TX.  Shipping is during normal business hours, Monday - Friday, No Weekends or Holidays. Multiple item purchases arrive in two or more shipments. We will always provide tracking information for each shipment depending on your selection of carrier.

Shipping fees are based on the total weight of your order and the fee provided by our provided shippers. Packages are shipped by "Best Service" unless otherwise specified during the ordering process. "Best Service" is determined by our computer system, which selects the most inexpensive ship method based on the products ordered and the shipment destination. Sales tax will be charged on orders shipping within the State of Texas (8.25%).

DOMESTIC SHIPPING - LOWER 48 CONTINGENT STATES

USPS Priority Mail, UPS Ground and UPS Expedited Delivery* services (U.S. only) delivery are available. Order processing can take up to 3-5 business days before your order ships. Saturday, Sunday, National Holidays and the day the order is placed do not count as processing days. UPS cannot ship to a P.O. Box, APO or FPO address (these addresses are served by USPS). Peak shipping/ordering times may result in a slower turnaround time.


*UPS Expedited shipping services do not guarantee delivery overnight or within two days. Although these orders do receive priority status, order processing time is still applicable when estimating delivery time.  If you need a guaranteed delivery date, please contact us before ordering.

HAWAII, ALASKA, APO, FPO, US TERRITORIES, CANADA & ALL INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING

UPS or USPS Global Priority Mail delivery service. Order processing can take up to 15 business days before your order ships. Saturday, Sunday, National Holidays and the day the order is placed do not count as processing days. Peak shipping/ordering times may result in a slower turnaround time. International customers are responsible for all taxes, duties, and other fees instituted by your country that may apply upon delivery of order.

WHEN TO EXPECT DELIVERY
Delivery time is based on: a) time required to process the order and b) time used by carrier to deliver the package.

While we make every effort to process and ship orders as quickly as possible, some orders could take additional time to process, depending upon order size and availability. Therefore, please keep this in mind if you are ordering for gifts, special occasions or especially during the holidays when our sales volume is higher than normal. If you need your order by a specific date, please let us know before purchasing and we will do our best to accommodate you.

Please note: Orders totaling over $250.00 will be shipped SIGNATURE REQUIRED and will have to be signed for by an adult (18 yrs. of age or older) when delivered. If your order will require a signature, we will notify you ahead of time.

No Hassle 30 Day Return Policy

We value your business and are sincerely committed to your satisfaction. If you are not happy with your Quilter's Apprentice purchase for any reason, just contact us within 30 days after you receive your order. Upon receipt of your request, we will email you a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) form which will include the details for returning your purchase. After you receive your RMA, simply return the items to us in the same condition as they were sent to you. When we receive your returned items we will inspect them and then reimburse payment, issue a credit or exchange the item, whichever you prefer.

We offer only exchanges in the event of defective items. Purchases may be returned for exchange, store credit or refund within 30 days and the following restrictions:

  • All items must be returned in their original condition including packaging, documentation, warranty cards, instructions, and hardware with tags still attached. Refund is for the amount of the item only. Shipping & Handling costs are non-refundable. Actual shipping cost will be deducted from refund if free shipping was offered.  

  • Clearance Items: These are products that have been discounted due to discontinuation, overstock, or limited promotion. These items are not eligible for refund. Customer may receive store credit if no exchange is available. Customer is responsible for returning products freight pre-paid and must cover return cost of the exchange.

  • Exchanges: You must return the item(s) to Quilter's Apprentice first before replacement item(s) will be sent. 

  • Products can not show signs of use. 

  • No cancellations, returns or exchanges are permitted on special order items or custom order items.  This includes item cut to length; fabric, backing, batting, etc.

  • All returns must be shipped freight prepaid. Returns must be returned through a traceable method and insured. If we cannot verify receipt of the product to us, we can't process the return.

  • Exchanges are shipped via a ground method at our discretion unless the customer pays for the difference for expedited shipping. Prior expedited shipping on the original order has no bearing on the second return method of shipping.

  • If we can not get you a suitable replacement for an item returned for exchange within 3 weeks, we will refund your money less shipping costs. 

 

WHAT TO INCLUDE & WHERE TO SEND A RETURN:

All items MUST be returned to our Texas Returns location to insure proper credit unless otherwise specified by the RMA instructions. When you contact us about returning an item, we will send you a detailed Return Merchandise Authorization form with simple instructions for sending your item back, including the address for our Returns Processing facility. This form will need to printed and a copy enclosed with your return which will expedite your exchange or refund.

RETURN PACKAGING:

When returning an item, please make sure all tags are still attached and include any protective covering, paperwork and the original box that came with the product. Improper packing during shipment can damage items, so please use care when preparing the item for return shipping. Unless it was damaged by the carrier in transit, most items can be returned in the same shipping box in which you received them.  Items must be packed in a sturdy outer shipping box.  Please do not ship items back in their display/manufacturer's box. 

EXCHANGE/REFUND PROCESSING:

Once we receive the original item back, it will be inspected to insure it is still in new resale-able condition and/or to verify any reported defects. Exchanges are usually processed within 48 hours of receiving the original item back. Refunds are generally processed within five (5) business days. We cannot exchange or issue refunds on items which show obvious signs of wear or are not in the same condition in which they were originally sent to you.
